Gerrard Art Space Landing Page (Redesign)

For emerging local artists, to promote, perform and exhibit their work. The Gerrard Art Space website (GAS) is a promotional and information site for artists that allows them to showcase their work and promote art shows.

My role

UX/UI

As the solo designer I began with research and initial ideation. I also did some inspiration boards based on the local community. From there I created user personas and information architecture for the app. This gave me the information needed to proceed with wireframes and creating a design system. The focus was on the landing page as the previous site was not showcasing the exhibitions or artists. For both mobile and desktop the navigation was updated to allow visitors to easily access what they needed.

Visual Design & Illustration

Following the wireframes I created mood boards and began using the design system and wireframes to create the visual design. The focus was on key pages for the app.
